Van Der Valk Hotel Breda

It was just a great fit for a flying visit in Breda with excellent value for money. The daily buffet breakfast was excellent, with fresh options including house-made pastries. Request a room away from the front to avoid noise from the nearby road.

The breakfast was particularly good and the best we had.

Very clean and atmospheric hotel with much space - in the lobby, in the breakfast room, and also the double room and bathroom were very spacious. We had a room with a nice view to the city side. The room to this side was very quiet. Breakfast was very delicious, but the breakfast room was very big with many tables, so the atmosphere was a bit stressy when all the people were getting their stuff to eat - this resembled a little bit to a canteen.

The wellness and spa facilities were excellent.

I was disappointed with the communication regarding our room request. Despite notifying the staff in advance about our need for an early check-in, we arrived to find no room available. We had to proactively inquire about changing facilities.

The food was excellent witha varied menu and thye staff were freindly and helpful.

Terrace was nice, staff very friendly, meal was delicious.

The one curtain in our room was hanging off one hook and could not be closed properly - tells me they don't pay much attention to the little things. No kleenex in the room at all.

A perfect overnight escape

The hotel's spacious room was a good surprise. The excellent breakfast buffet and attentive staff.

Noise from the hallway could sometimes be distracting, which took away from the overall experience. It's also worth mentioning that parking options for electric vehicles needed to be asked for.

Try to request a quiet room away from the parking area, as morning noise can be disruptive during your stay.

The room size is perfect. The meals are excellent! Stuff is friendly.

The aircondition was noisy. I was double charged for breakfast that I figured out.

My first time in a 4 stars hotel without frigobar in the room. From 3th floor you need to go to the 1st in the middle of the night for a bottle of water (automatic distributor)

Swimming pool was super nice, but the noise from the hallway was a bit annoying. Breakfast had heaps of options, sweet as!
